Project Location: rural Zambia
After receiving a request from a Zambian native who was studying at a local university, Solar Liberty Foundation provided assistance to a rural village in Zambia. The student explained that in preparation for a visit home, she asked her family what they needed. Though the student’s travel allowance was limited, and the needs of the village extensive, her family insisted: solar cookers were the single most important item she could bring them. Fulfilling their request, Solar Liberty Foundation provided the young woman with solar cookers to bring home to her family.
